Kekem African Braids braids fifteen styles at our salon on Sawdust Road in Spring, TX — knotless, box braids, micro braids, stitch, cornrows, twists, faux locs and braided ponytails. Here is what each one starts at, and what makes the final price go up or down, so you know before you sit down.
Prices are a starting point, not a final quote. Call or text us with the style and length you want and we’ll give you a figure before you book.
Four things move the number:
Nothing gets added to your total without being said out loud first.
Come with your hair washed and detangled; braiding goes faster and sits better on prepared hair. Bring your inspiration photo. And book the earliest slot you can get for a long style — we open at 7:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays for exactly that reason.
All prices on this page are for braiding done at 265 Sawdust Rd, Suite A, Spring, TX 77380. There’s free parking outside, and we’re closed on Mondays.
We braid, and only braid: Kekem African Braids does not cut or color hair.
It depends far more on size and length than on the style name. At Kekem African Braids in Spring, TX, braiding starts at $60 for men’s cornrows, and a small, waist-length set with add-ons sits at the top of the range. Call or text us with your style and length for a figure before you book.
Knotless braids usually cost more than box braids of the same size and length, because the technique takes longer to install. If your priority is less tension at the root, that’s what you’re paying for.
Men’s cornrows start at $60. Most of our male clients come in on a regular schedule rather than one-off.
Hair extensions are not included in the price of the braid; you can either bring your own or buy them from us.
We do not require a deposit to schedule an appointment.
We offer quality customer service by being attentive to each customer’s needs and preferences. We take all feedback into account to implement positive changes to improve the customer experience.
